Introducing Peak Clarity: Windshield Protection Film for Your Shop
Every shop that installs PPF gets the same question after the front end is done: "What about the windshield?" Until now the honest answer was a competitor's roll or nothing. Today it's Peak Clarity.

What It Is
Peak Clarity is a windshield protection film: a clear, self-healing layer applied to the outside of the glass. It absorbs rock chips and road debris before they reach the windshield, and it does it without changing what the driver sees. Over 90% light transmission, under 1% haze, no distortion, and no interference with ADAS cameras, rain sensors, or heads-up displays.
At 7.5 mil (190 µm) it is thicker than the leading windshield films on the market, which run 4 to 6 mil. That is more material between the rock and the glass.
Why Installers Will Like It

The part that matters on the shop floor: Peak Clarity installs on curved glass without thermoforming. No heat-shrink step, no fighting the film into the corners of a raked windshield. It goes on wet like PPF, squeegees out like PPF, and trims at the edge. We've run it on real installs before putting it in the catalog.
The rest of the stack is familiar too:
- Self-healing top coat. Light wiper and wash marks disappear with heat from the sun or a heat gun.
- Shape-memory core. The layer that lets the film take the curve of the glass on its own.
- Acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. Removes clean with heat, no residue, glass unchanged underneath.
- Hydrophobic. Water beads and runs; visibility improves in the rain.
Why It Sells

A modern windshield replacement is glass, labor, and ADAS recalibration, routinely $1,000 and up. Peak Clarity is a sacrificial layer that costs a fraction of that, and it is the easiest add-on in the building: the car is already in the bay, the front bumper is already getting film, and the customer has already decided they care about protecting it.
Quote the windshield next to the front end. Two sacrificial layers on the two surfaces that take the most hits, in one appointment.
How to Stock It
- Roll size: 48" x 50 ft. One roll covers roughly 10 to 12 windshields depending on the vehicle. Film runs lengthwise across the glass, so the narrower roll means less waste per car, not fewer cars.
- Pricing: same dealer tier structure as Peak Color PPF. Your tier carries over.
- Minimum: one roll. Samples are free.
- Warranty: 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Impact damage and wiper wear are not covered; it is a sacrificial film by design.
- Care: hand wash, fresh wiper blades, no ice scrapers. The full guide is on the Care page.
For Vehicle Owners
If you own the car rather than the shop: Peak Clarity is installed by Peak PPF dealers. Find one on the Find an Installer page and ask for it by name. Expect 1 to 2 years of daily driving before wiper wear calls for a new sheet, with the glass underneath untouched the whole time.
Get It on the Shelf
Peak Clarity is live in the Partner Portal now. Current dealers can order today; everyone else can apply on the Dealer Program page and hear back within 2 to 3 business days.
