THE CARE

Allow Proper Curing Time
After installation, let the film’s adhesive cure for about 7days before washing or exposing it to harsh conditions, ensuring Peak PPF bonds securely to the paint.

Keep Hands Off While Film Settles
Avoid touching or picking at the film edges and don’t push on any small bubbles, as these minor imperfections are normal right after installation and will disappear as Peak PPF fully settles.

Wash your Peak PPF vehicle by hand at least once a month with a pH-neutral car shampoo. Avoid automatic car washes with brushes which can scratch or lift the film.

Use Soft Mitts and Microfiber
Opt for soft wash mitts and microfiber towels to gently clean the film, and avoid coarse brushes or sponges that could mar the PPF’s surface.

Avoid Harsh Cleaners
Stick to mild, PPF-safe cleaning products and avoid strong solvents or petroleum-based chemicals that could undermine the film’s adhesive or cause discoloration.

Avoid High Pressure At Edges
If using a pressure washer, keep it at low pressure and away from the film’s edges, since high-pressure water can cause the film to lift or become damaged.

Remove Contaminants Immediately
Clean off bird droppings, bug splatter, or tree sap as soon as possible, because these can cause stains or degrade the film if left for too long.
