The Warranty.

10 Year Limited Warranty

Manufacturer’s Defect Limited Warranty: Various provisions in this Manufacturer’s Defect Limited Warranty (the “Limited Warranty”) regulate coverage. Read the entire Warranty carefully to determine your rights and duties and our obligations with respect to this Warranty.

Peak PPF (“the Product”), warrants to the original retail purchaser of the Product, that when the Product is maintained according to the Product Care Requirements, it will be free of discernible manufacturing defects, including but not limited to substantial yellowing, cracking, bubbling or excessive peeling, for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase of the Product (the “Limited Warranty Period”). This Limited Warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the Product, and the original application of the Product to the vehicle described in this Limited Warranty, and is not transferable or assignable, by operation of law or otherwise. There are no warranties other than this Limited Warranty, and all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or of merchantability, are specifically disclaimed.

In the event that the Product is determined by Peak PPF to be defective, Peak PPF will replace the defective film by delivering replacement film to any Peak PPF certified installer of the product, as designated by the claimant. This shall be Peak PPF’s only obligation under this Limited Warranty. Peak PPF is not responsible for the cost of re-installation of the Product. In no event shall Peak PPF be liable or responsible for any loss or damage, including, without limitation, direct, indirect or consequential damages, even if Peak PPF is advised of the potential for such damages. This Limited Warranty shall be void if the Product has been subject to abuse, improper installation and/or care in contravention of the film care instructions on page one of this warranty. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary by country, region, state, department, prefecture, province, county, or city
Exclusions: This Warranty only covers discernible manufacturing defects in the Product as defined above, and does not cover damage that is caused by or results from (a) deterioration of the Product due to normal wear (swirl marks from washing is considered normal wear), accident, collision, negligence, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration, modification, customization or vandalism, (b) sandstorms, hail, tornadoes, hurricanes, (c) any use of the vehicle on dirt roads, mining roads, gravel roads (off-road), (d) chemicals and caustic materials, (e) falling objects, (f) cleaning or scrubbing the product with abrasive material, (g) any usage of a power washer on the vehicle, (h) fraudulent claims, (i) installation by anyone other than an approved Peak PPF Film installer, (j) misapplication or faulty installation, or (k) cosmetic damage.

Limitations: No agent, representative, installer, dealer or employee has the authority to alter, extend, limit, modify, or increase the obligations or limitations of this Limited Warranty. The installer of the Product is NOT an employee or agent of Peak PPF. The installer is solely responsible for any defects that result from improper installation, or from any modifications or repairs made to your vehicle in connection with the installation of the Product.

CONSUMER WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE: This warranty is limited and is the eligible Peak PPF film owner’s sole and exclusive remedy. Should the Product fail to meet the terms of this warranty, contact your original Peak PPF installing dealer to initiate a warranty claim. If the original Peak PPF dealer is unavailable, contact Peak PPF directly for further instruction. Peak PPF will review a warranty claim within 45 days of receiving ALL proper documentation. Peak PPF will authorize completion of warranted work if a claim is deemed valid. Once a claim is approved, the original purchaser may obtain replacement and installation of the Product at any participating Peak PPF dealer in the United States or Canada.

PURCHASER MUST SUPPLY THE ORIGINAL RECEIPT OF INSTALLATION ALONG WITH THIS COMPLETED PEAK PPF WARRANTY.

A PRODUCT ROLL SERIAL NUMBER IS REQUIRED FOR WARRANTY PROCESSING.

FAILURE TO PROVIDE VERIFYING DOCUMENTATION WILL RESULT IN CLAIM DENIAL.

Disclaimer of Liabilities

Peak PPF products must be stored, handled, installed, used, and maintained according to the instructions provided by the Company. This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon full compliance with all such instructions. Copies of Peak PPF’s care and installation guides are available upon request.Peak PPF films serve as an effective sacrificial layer, providing robust paint protection.

This Limited Warranty does not cover defects caused by:

Failure to follow Peak PPF’s recommended installation, care, and maintenance guidelines, including but not limited to exposure to harsh chemicals, solvents, excessive heat or cold, or other forms of misuse is not covered. Improper storage, handling, installation, or use of the product will void the warranty. Damage not resulting from manufacturing defects that occurs while the product is in the customer’s possession is also excluded.

Unreasonable or unintended use of the product is not covered. Products installed with known or visible manufacturing defects at the time of installation—including but not limited to scratches, scuffs, scrapes, or chips to the painted surface—are not covered under this warranty.

Stains, scratches, and swirl marks resulting from everyday use, washing, or environmental factors are not covered. Damage caused by improper washing techniques, automatic car washes, incorrect wash tools, or servicing by unauthorized third parties is excluded from coverage.

Any scratches, scuffs, scrapes, or chips to the painted surface due to external impact are not covered. Water spots caused by mineral deposits left to dry on the film, which may result in staining, are also excluded. Damage caused by collision, vandalism, fire, hail, flood, road debris, rail dust, paint overspray, or paint manufacturer defects—which may be covered under the vehicle manufacturer’s protection plan—is not covered by this warranty.

Areas that have not been re-wrapped after a paint or body repair are excluded. The use of Peak PPF in non-automotive applications, or the use of non-approved coatings or chemicals that may alter the film’s performance, will void the warranty. Finally, any damage caused by external forces, including impact from rocks, debris, or road hazards, is not covered under this limited warranty.

Any information, suggestions, or recommendations provided by Peak PPF regarding product applications, specifications, or compliance with industry standards are intended for reference only and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of suitability for specific applications. Customers are responsible for verifying the compatibility of Peak PPF products for their intended use.

THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE THE ONLY WARRANTIES PROVIDED BY PEAK PPF. PEAK PPF MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

PRODUCTS ARE SOLD ONLY TO THE SPECIFICATIONS PROVIDED BY PEAK PPF IN WRITING. OTHER THAN THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN, NO OTHER WARRANTIES APPLY.

THE COMPANY’S SOLE OBLIGATION UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS. AT THE COMPANY’S OPTION, A REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE MAY BE ISSUED INSTEAD OF REPLACEMENT.

THE BUYER ASSUMES ALL RISKS RELATED TO THE USE OF PEAK PPF PRODUCTS, WHETHER USED ALONE OR IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER PRODUCTS OR MATERIALS.

Limitation of Liability

No claim made by the buyer or owner, including claims for indemnification, shall exceed the purchase price of the product in question. Under no circumstances shall Peak PPF be liable to the buyer or owner—whether in tort, contract, or otherwise—for any special, indirect, incidental, consequential, reliance, statutory, punitive, or exemplary damages.

This includes, but is not limited to: lost profits, loss of use of the vehicle or product, loss of time, loss of revenue, inconvenience, loss of business opportunities, damage to goodwill or reputation, and/or loss of data.

Even if Peak PPF has been advised of the possibility of such damages, or such damages could have been reasonably foreseen, the company shall not be held liable for any claims arising from, connected to, or resulting from the sale, delivery, servicing, use, or loss of use of Peak PPF products. Additionally, Peak PPF is not responsible for any liability of the buyer to a third party in relation to the product.
